Where a code actually helps
A wedding generates a lot of paper, and most of it is trying to get someone to a website. A QR code removes the typing:
- Save the dates, holding the date in a guest's calendar in one tap.
- Invitations and RSVP cards, replacing a hand-written URL nobody types correctly.

Contrast matters more than palette. A soft sage code on a cream card looks lovely and may not scan. Keep the code meaningfully darker than its background, and if you are set on a pale palette, put the code in the darkest tone of it.
Do not print it over a photograph or a pattern. Give it a clear margin of plain background on all four sides.
